Editorial Policy

Good streaming advice should help you understand a choice, including its limits. These are the standards for content published on IPTV Insider.

Separate guidance from testing

An explainer describes how a concept or setup works. A buying checklist outlines questions to verify. Neither should be presented as a hands-on test. Any future test-based review should state what was tested, when, with which equipment and under what conditions.

Check claims at the source

App availability, prices and supported devices can change. Product-specific articles should refer to official documentation or listings and identify uncertainty. Readers should check the exact product and region before purchasing.

Keep ratings meaningful

We do not add star ratings to the launch guides. A future rating must use disclosed criteria and supporting evidence; a commercial relationship is not evidence of product quality.

Disclose relevant relationships

Articles featuring affiliate links, paid placements or products connected to the publisher must disclose those relationships clearly. Commercial relationships should not be hidden behind claims of independent testing.

Make updates useful

Publication and update dates should reflect the content’s history. Changing a year in a headline is not a substitute for reviewing the underlying information.

Protect readers’ account details

Examples and screenshots should omit passwords, private playlist links and other credentials. Guides should point readers toward official installation sources and compatible content they are entitled to use.
